This policy explains what information the certms.com website collects and how it is used. The website is operated by Mike W Consulting LLC ("we", "us"). It covers this website only, not the CertMS product; each CertMS customer's data lives in that customer's own dedicated instance.

Information you give us

When you fill in a form on this site (contact, demo request, or a download such as the 47-Day Certificate Survival Guide or the Certificate Inventory Template), we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address and company. These forms are provided by Zoho Forms and the information is stored with Zoho.

If you sign up for the free 5-day email course, your email address is stored with Zoho Campaigns so we can send the course. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Our free tools (the Cert Scanner and the readiness assessment quiz) receive the answers and domain names you enter, and the email address you provide if you ask for your results to be emailed.

We use this information to respond to you, send what you asked for, and follow up about CertMS.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are visited and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your browser, device and approximate location. You can opt out with Google'sAnalytics opt-out browser add-on.

Embedded content

Some pages embed content from other services: forms from Zoho, and a product video from YouTube on the Features page. These services may collect information about you, including through cookies, as described in their own privacy policies.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above, which process it on our behalf, or when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and email signups for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our relationship, and delete them on request.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us at the address below.
